Arcadia the Snail
The Golden Ratio is ever present in nature, appearing in the stars, weather, plants, animals, and in a snail’s shell. The spiral in the snail’s shell represents the cyclical nature of life as well as the cycles of the moon. It is a divine spiral connecting us to each other and to nature.  Arcadia, meaning balance in nature, represents harmony and purpose, tolerance and perseverance. The balance of snails also holds a symbol of duality, representing the full spectrum between male and female binaries. Arcadia’s shell should be viewed as a protective barrier, an internalized and portable sense of safety, safeguarding us against external traumas and reminding us to focus on inner strength and connection to the larger world.
